GodGift Core privacy

GodGift Core collects no personal data. No account, no advertising, no analytics. It reads public information (the Bitcoin chain, the bookshop, the drand network) and recomputes it on your machine.

What stays on your machine only: your settings, your receiving address and its signature, your verified books. Your riddle answers and a chest’s key are never written or sent: GodGift Core itself signs, on your machine, the transaction that empties a chest to your address.

What goes on the network: the public reads above; a recovery transaction, if you find a chest; and, only if you chose it, your witness report (block, fingerprints, result), signed with an anonymous key renewed every week, published on Nostr relays. Like any connection, these services see the connection’s IP address. You can stop being a witness at any time in Settings.
